It was okay， I wasn't expecting it to be perfect in terms of sexism because it's based on another era but I would never consider this couple goals， neither should anyone！I found this coulple more healthy than the one in the first book， at least。 They had chemistry and I like the fact that they didn't stand each other at first but at the same time they were wanting to see each other and stuff。The thing I find unrealistic is how mental health was treated in this book， like if you suddenly talk abo It was okay， I wasn't expecting it to be perfect in terms of sexism because it's based on another era but I would never consider this couple goals， neither should anyone！I found this coulple more healthy than the one in the first book， at least。 They had chemistry and I like the fact that they didn't stand each other at first but at the same time they were wanting to see each other and stuff。The thing I find unrealistic is how mental health was treated in this book， like if you suddenly talk about a problem it just vanishes！ Nope。 That wasn't realistic but it was good。 I refuse to believe I will end up this saga and rate any of these book more than 3 stars， I hope so， but I don't think so。I'm excited for Colin and Benedict though 。。。more

Yes。Fun！ I enjoyed this story more than book 1。 Again， the book is as you’d expect in terms of “brain candy” - not heavy but a fun， easy， breezy romance novel。 I oddly got Taming of the Shrew and 10 things I hate about you vibes - though the story lines don’t match。 I suspect the author used both references as a spring board to create Book 2’s storyline。

In my opinion， you can never argue with a well written enemies to lovers。 And， wow， was this well written。 Strangely， this second installment of the Bridgertons series felt more like a novel than the first one？ If that makes any sense whatsoever。。。 I enjoyed this one exponentially more than the first。 Anthony and Kate just felt more real， and well-rounded than Daphne and the Duke。 Arguably， the advantage here could be that we already saw quite a bit of Anthony in the first book。 I just feel like In my opinion， you can never argue with a well written enemies to lovers。 And， wow， was this well written。 Strangely， this second installment of the Bridgertons series felt more like a novel than the first one？ If that makes any sense whatsoever。。。 I enjoyed this one exponentially more than the first。 Anthony and Kate just felt more real， and well-rounded than Daphne and the Duke。 Arguably， the advantage here could be that we already saw quite a bit of Anthony in the first book。 I just feel like I could talk about these characters as if they were people in my life， and if that's not a good sign I don't know what is。 Even their internal struggles just felt more fathomable than in the previous book。 Moreover， I'm not one for rereading books， but this is definitely something I could see myself picking up and enjoying all the same。 My only qualm， （which I believe to be a universal truth in the genre of romance，） is that if I were to leave off in a particularly steamy part， I would later find it difficult to pick back up at a very much not so casual scene。All in all， a really enjoyable read with the familiar and notoriously witty banter of Julia Quinn。 This isn't saying much considering I've only read a measly two books in this series， but as of now out of all this ranks number 1！ On to the next Bridgerton story！（Author's note: Also， very importantly， THE VISCOUNT WHO LOVED ME definitely didn't skimp on the brilliant sibling dynamic between the Bridgerton siblings！） 。。。more

I had mixed feelings about the first book， so I wasn't sure what to expect from this， but I was pleasantly surprised。 I still like the writing and the Bridgerton family， there was just something about the transitions in feelings between Anthony and Kate that seemed forced - I was excited about the "enemies to lovers" trope but it just seemed to come and go in every interaction a little bit like an afterthought。Kate was hilarious though。 This book had so many wholesome moments （I am now completel I had mixed feelings about the first book， so I wasn't sure what to expect from this， but I was pleasantly surprised。 I still like the writing and the Bridgerton family， there was just something about the transitions in feelings between Anthony and Kate that seemed forced - I was excited about the "enemies to lovers" trope but it just seemed to come and go in every interaction a little bit like an afterthought。Kate was hilarious though。 This book had so many wholesome moments （I am now completely convinced that a huge family is everything） and I really liked the romance， but at some points it seemed forced where as other points， which had great options for epic romance， seemed a bit lost。 Still such a fun read - loved Kate， loved the dog。 Would read again。 。。。more

casar independente。 depois de muita conversa a Kate consegue convencer e fazer elas entenderem q era pcausa da abelha e tals， entao elas concordam em q eles não precisam casar， porem o anthony chega e While it repeats some of the tropes from the first one， I really liked the dynamic between the protagonists in this。 I enjoyed seeing Anthony be very vulnerable and I thought Kate was a really fun and original character。 I am obsessed with these books so I’ll probably love them all。

This was really good！ We learned a lot more about Anthony in this one， which is good since it is his story！ I really liked Kate， I think she was my favourite character， Anthony really met his match in her！ I didn’t find it as fun and witty as the first one， but I really enjoyed it anyway， especially the Pall Mall game， it was hilarious！

This is only my second romance novel （the first being the first book in the Bridgerton series）， and I must say that this one was better than the first。 Perhaps its because the books are about one family， the Bridgertons， and each book focuses on one of the family's offspring。 Also because I watched the Netflix series before reading the first book （which ruined the first book for me）。 The first book focused on Daphne， the fourth child and first born daughter， and this book focused on Anthony， the This is only my second romance novel （the first being the first book in the Bridgerton series）， and I must say that this one was better than the first。 Perhaps its because the books are about one family， the Bridgertons， and each book focuses on one of the family's offspring。 Also because I watched the Netflix series before reading the first book （which ruined the first book for me）。 The first book focused on Daphne， the fourth child and first born daughter， and this book focused on Anthony， the first born son and direct heir。 By this book I was familiar with the setting and the characters， so I found it more enjoyable。 "The Viscount Who Loved Me" by Julia Quinn is about Anthony Bridgerton， a viscount， who is well past the marrying age and has decided to marry; however， he hasn't found a wife。 During the course of the novel he begins to court Edwina Sheffield while trying to win the approval of her sister， Kate。 During the courtship he begins to find out that he actually has feelings for Kate instead of Edwina and so the drama ensues。 So far in my reading of this series， Quinn has proved an expert at writing dialogue and creating hilarious and dramatic scenes that are movie worthy。 They are， at times， a little ridiculous， but it's entertaining and I'm learning to just enjoy it because its part of the romance genre and isn't intended to be taken too seriously。 I love the world that Quinn has created。 She knows her characters and the world so well and she truly loves them and cares about them。 It's evident in her writing of first and second epilogues。 I rated this a 4/5 because while it wasn't the greatest book I've ever read， I was fully consumed by it and found no faults。 I would recommend this series to someone who wants to be entertained with fun and light （and sexy） reading。 。。。more
